Quinola Mothergrain – Pinto bean and Sweetcorn (Stage 2)


Quinoa based meal high in protein and slow releasing complex carbohydrates. Rich in iron, omega 3, zinc and protein.



At around 8 months, baby can discover this delicious new recipe. The fork mash texture will get him familiar with slightly more solid food. The mix of pinto bean, sweetcorn and onion will give baby a more savoury introduction to vegetables, with all the goodness of quinoa too.


  • Organic Pinto Bean (30%)
  • Organic Sweetcorn Puree (27%)
  • Organic Quinoa (20%)
  • Organic Onion (10%)
  • Cooking Water

Cooking instructions:

  • Heat for 30 seconds at 750W either in pouch or in a dish, or warm the pouch in a pan of boiling water for 1 minute.
  • Stir and check the temperature.

Emma says:

“Heating plastic is never a good idea as during the process of heating chemicals within the plastic can leach into the food. I have given this to my boy cold when I have had no way of heating it and he still enjoyed it. If I’m at home I simply pour it into a small saucepan and heat until it is just warm.”
